Following reports of an explosion outside British Airways and British Petroleum offices in Tehran earlier today, the Iranian state television said that the blast was a minor explosion and only an accident.
The Iranian news programme said, foreign News Agencies and TV networks had exaggerated the incident while it was only a simple accident.
The minor blast which was apparently caused by a small container of petrol was not actually outside the offices of BA and BP offices and it had only broken a few windows of the building in Sayeh Tower opposite Tehran’s main public Park north of Tehran, the News programme added.
The Iranian TV also said, the Police in Tehran did not consider the incident as a security concern.
