An explosive device blasted outside the offices of British Airways, British Petroleum and Daimler Chrysler in northern Tehran on Tuesday, 2 August.
The source, who was speaking on condition of anonymity, added the explosion caused no casualties, but the scare bomb had shattered the windows of the building.
A person, who introduced himself as a BP employee, told the Official Iranian News Agency IRNA that the explosive device went off at 09:30 (0500 GMT) on the 10th floor of Sayeh building, opposit Mellat Park on Vali-Asr street.
