The E3 (Britain, France and Germany) have agreed to offer Iran a new proposal in July, in return for a continued secession of Iran’s nuclear program. The E3 will offer Iran ‘incentives’ for not pursuing its own nuclear program that will lead to further cooperation between the two regions.
The process of constructive dialogue has continued to reconcile two apparently opposing viewpoints – Iran exercising its right to develop nuclear energy and the West wishing to restrict the proliferation of nuclear weapons. Furthermore, this latest step forwards will add pressure on the United States to join the process of constructive dialogue, which so far it has not.
