British Red Cross is holding a fund raising exhibition and auction in London on 1st July 2004 at Gainsborough Studios.

The British Red Cross had requested the donations of artworks from various companies, among whom British Persian Media are one.

British Persian Media has donated various artworks to the British Red Cross which have been created by Iranian artists such as Ahmad Khorrami, Pouran Lashini, Mohammad R Alexander Barzin, Kourosh Shahrokh-Shahi and Alijan Alijanpour.

The aim of the event is to raise funds for humanitarian aid throughout the world in such instances as the recent Bam earthquake in Iran. Ten works of art shall be specially selected for auction by the world famous Sotheby's. The artwork donated by the recently established British Persian Media can be seen on British Persian Media’s Art section.

* All proceeds will go towards the work of the British Red Cross, which provides a tangible and practical sign of hope in crisis both within the UK and internationally.

Programme of the evening:

6:30pm: Arrival and viewing, silent auction begins
8:00 – 8:30pm: Live auction
9:30pm, Silent auction finishes
11:00pm: Carriages

Drinks and canapés will be served throughout the evening
